Happy 3rd Birthday Hayden!

I can't believe it, but Hayden turned 3 on April 29! Where has the time gone? We celebrated with a small family party yesterday and eveyone had a great time! We had a great looking and delicious cake with a Simba on it and he got lots of nice gifts including a swingset from Grandma & Pap R! I have to upload the pictures from the party and will do that soon! What a difference 3 years makes!

It's been too long......

I haven't made an entry since 2/13! Guess I better get on the ball!

Let's see.... Hayden is pretty much potty trained, but we're still working on getting 100% there. He also finally moved out of his crib and into his big boy bed. Last night was his first night and he only made it about 1/2 through the night before making his way into our room. We'll work on getting him to stay in there all night! Nolan has taken over Hayden's former crib and doesn't seem to be phased. Nolan started saying "baby" over the weekend which is just so cute! They spent the night with my mom & dad Saturday night since I had to work until 10:00 at Target and then be back there first thing Sunday morning (not my idea of fun!) They love spending time with Grandma & Pap R, that's for sure!

So, I'm still at Target! I enjoy working there, but doing so every weekend is a bit much! I think I'm going to have to cut back my hours. It's just too exhausting.

I can't believe Easter is less than 2 weeks away! Where is this year going? These past 3 months just flew by! We will be celebrating Easter with my family on 4/11 and with Gary's family on 4/12. Let's just hope that this year is a lot better than last year! Hayden got the stomach flu last year the day before Easter. He managed to pass it along to at least 5 other people which was not a fun experience for anyone!

Hayden is going to turn 3 in less than a month! We'll be having a small family celebration with a lion king themed party! Finding decorations, etc. is proving to be tough since the movie is now 15 years old! Can you believe it came out in 1994!?! Makes me feel old!

Well, that's what going on with us! I HAVE to start taking pictures of the kids! This in my greatest downfall and I know I will regret is when they are older (I already do). I'll post again soon!

Happy Birthday to me!

Today, I am celebrating my 32nd birthday! We aren't doing anything to celebrate today, but tomorrow we are headed to Erie, PA to visit with my brother, sister-in-law & niece. We're spending the night and then heading to Splash Lagoon on Sunday. It will be nice to get away and I'm really looking forward to it.

In other news, Nolan is walking now! He had been taking steps here & there, but on Super Bowl Sunday, he took off! It's so fun to watch him and the look on his face says that he is just so proud! Big brother Hayden is also doing well! I can't believe he will be 3 in a few short months! Where did the time go?

Take Care!

Let's get healthy......in more ways than one!

With the arrival of 2009, I have decided that I am going to try to be a bit more healthy. You know, eat better, exercise more.... I vow to do this at the beginning of every year. Well, I'm serious this time!! No really, I am! Anyway, I've done pretty good so far. I've exercised 4 out of 7 days and have been doing pretty good with the eating thing too.

On another note, Hayden didn't end 2008 on a very healthy note. We noticed on 12/29 that he was rubbing his eye, lethargic, had no appetite, etc. After a restless night I took him to the doctor and it was confirmed that he had pink eye! After receiving drops and taking it easy for a few days, he was feeling much better!

It's Nolan's turn now and while he doesn't have pink eye, (yay for that!) he has been feverish on and off since Sunday and seems to have a nasty head cold/congestion. Not only that, but the poor little guy has several new teeth coming in all at once! He stayed home from daycare today and Aunt Lynn was gracious enough to come down and spend the day with him. Let's hope he's on the mend soon!

Lastly, just wanted to throw in that we are going full force on potty training Hayden. We're starting on Saturday so wish us luck! I can't believe that it's time to do this already! Wasn't he just a baby!?!?
